Esses ventos, quando s\u00e3o normais, arrastam as \u00e1guas superficiais desde a costa at\u00e9 o oceano, e isso faz com que as \u00e1guas geladas das profundidades surjam ali&#8221;, explica.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"content-ads content-ads--reveal\" data-block-type=\"ads\" data-block-id=\"12\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"15\" data-block-id=\"13\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Essa \u00e1gua gelada, diz, \u00e9 normal na zona equatorial da costa da Am\u00e9rica do Sul.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"31\" data-block-id=\"14\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">&#8220;Quando esses ventos al\u00edsios se enfraquecem, esse processo cessa, a \u00e1gua quente se acumula e se produz um aumento da superf\u00edcie do mar, principalmente na costa do Peru e do Equador.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"34\" data-block-id=\"15\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Quando esses ventos al\u00edsios s\u00e3o muito fortes e a subida das \u00e1guas geladas \u00e9 refor\u00e7ada na zona equatorial, acompanhada de uma temperatura do mar abaixo do normal, a\u00ed come\u00e7a a manifestar-se o La Ni\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"30\" data-block-id=\"16\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">C\u00e1rdenas comenta que tamb\u00e9m h\u00e1 a &#8220;zona neutra&#8221;, na qual nos encontr\u00e1vamos h\u00e1 pouco tempo, em que nenhum dos dois eventos est\u00e3o notavelmente ativos e as temperaturas permanecem na m\u00e9dia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"19\" data-block-id=\"17\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Ele acrescenta que, geralmente, os centros meteorol\u00f3gicos podem determinar com antecipa\u00e7\u00e3o quando a oscila\u00e7\u00e3o do sul mudar\u00e1 de sido incomum sua apari\u00e7\u00e3o nessa \u00e9poca, ele tem se mostrado enfraquecido e n\u00e3o h\u00e1 sinais de que possa se intensificar&#8221;, afirma.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column O inverno deste ano na regi\u00e3o norte dos Estados Unidos, por exemplo, parece ter se adiantado, e \u00e9 algo que costuma estar associado a esse fen\u00f4meno&#8221;, diz o especialista.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"22\" data-block-id=\"29\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">&#8220;Tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o previs\u00edveis secas no in\u00edcio do ano na zona sul dos Estados Unidos e na zona equatorial da Am\u00e9rica Latina&#8221;, diz.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"33\" data-block-id=\"30\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Patzer acredita que mesmo que o La Ni\u00f1a se intensifique nos pr\u00f3ximos meses, seus impactos sobre o clima mundial n\u00e3o seriam t\u00e3o intensos como aconteceu com o El Ni\u00f1o entre 1997 e 1998.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"40\" data-block-id=\"31\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">&#8220;Ali houve uma ativa\u00e7\u00e3o muito intensa tamb\u00e9m do La Ni\u00f1a. Entretanto, seu comportamento nos \u00faltimos tempos tem sido muito incomum.
