Foto: Marc Dourojeanni.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Os turistas v\u00e3o ao Peru, na sua maior parte, para visitar Cusco e Machu Pichu e, claro, para comer bem. Machu Picchu \u00e9 imperd\u00edvel. Mas, quem acha que isso \u00e9 o \u00fanico que \u00e9 imperd\u00edvel no Peru est\u00e1 muito errado. S\u00e3o d\u00fazias os lugares t\u00e3o ou mais belos e impressionantes que existem, alguns deles muito perto de Lima. Nesta oportunidade s\u00f3 se menciona o Parque Nacional Huascaran, ou seja, 340.000 hectares de natureza com mais de 660 glaciares e 300 lagoas a apenas uns 400 quil\u00f4metros \u00a0ao nordeste de Lima. Ademais, na rota a cidade de Hauraz, desde onde \u00e9 mais f\u00e1cil visitar o Parque, se passa por outros locais interessantes como a Reserva Nacional Lachay e o s\u00edtio arqueol\u00f3gico Caral, a cidade pr\u00e9-colombiana mais antiga das Am\u00e9ricas.<\/p>\n<p>Huascaran est\u00e1 situado na Cordilheira Branca que separa os vales conhecidos como Huaylas que desce ao Pac\u00edfico e Conchucos, que desce a Amaz\u00f4nia. O Parque protege numerosas esp\u00e9cies de animais e plantas \u00fanicas e raras, como a vicunha e o urso de \u00f3culos, ademais de muitas aves inclu\u00eddo o condor e plantas. A mais consp\u00edcua e a Puyaraimondi, uma esp\u00e9cie parente do abacaxi que alcan\u00e7a mais de 12 metros de altura. No come\u00e7o do vale de Conchucos se encontra o famoso templo pr\u00e9-incaico de Chavin, uma cultura que at\u00e9 antes da redescoberta de Caral, era reputada como a mais antiga do Peru.<\/p>\n<p>Existem v\u00e1rias vias que cruzam o Parque entre os dois vales, passando a uns 5.000 metros de altitude brindando vistas espetaculares sobre os nevados, as lagoas e as florestas remanescentes. Percorrer duas ou tr\u00eas destas vias , assim como visitar Lachay e Caral, leva de tr\u00eas a quatro dias. E, acredite, vale muito a pena.
