Segundo estudo publicado no jornal <em>Phytotherapy Research,<\/em>\u00a0a fruta\u00a0ajuda a prevenir a <strong>s\u00edndrome metab\u00f3lica<\/strong>, condi\u00e7\u00e3o que envolve a exist\u00eancia de tr\u00eas ou mais fatores de risco para doen\u00e7as card\u00edacas e diabetes, como press\u00e3o alta, n\u00edvel alto de triglic\u00e9rides e maior circunfer\u00eancia abdominal.<\/p>\n<p>A pesquisa\u00a0avaliou resultados de 129 estudos j\u00e1 publicados, examinando os efeitos do <strong>abacate<\/strong> em diferentes causas da s\u00edndrome metab\u00f3lica. A maior parte desses estudos envolvia o consumo da polpa da fruta, mas outros tamb\u00e9m analisaram os efeitos das folhas, cascas, \u00f3leos e sementes.<\/p>\n<h3>Benef\u00edcios do abacate<\/h3>\n<p>Os pesquisadores conclu\u00edram que consumo da fruta pode ter influ\u00eancia sobre diversos aspectos, como no n\u00edvel ruim de colesterol (LDL), o colesterol bom (HDL), triglic\u00e9rides, colesterol total e fosfolip\u00eddeos. \u201cOs agentes\u00a0hipolipemiantes, anti-hipertensivos, antidiab\u00e9ticos, anti-obesidade, antitromb\u00f3ticos, anti-ateroscler\u00f3ticos e cardioprotetores\u00a0presentes no <strong>abacate<\/strong> t\u00eam sido demonstrados em v\u00e1rios estudos\u201d, explicaram os autores do compilado. Em outras palavras, o <strong>abacate<\/strong> pode agir na <strong>preven\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong> de todos os sintomas da <strong>s\u00edndrome metab\u00f3lica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A maioria dos estudos recomenda comer a fruta diariamente. \u201cEste \u00e9 apenas mais um estudo para mostrar que o <strong>abacate<\/strong> realmente merece o status de um <strong>superalimento<\/strong>\u201c, disse Cynthia Sass, editora\u00a0de nutri\u00e7\u00e3o do site\u00a0<em>Health.com\u00a0<\/em>que n\u00e3o teve participa\u00e7\u00e3o no estudo. Cynthia explicou que o\u00a0<strong>abacate<\/strong>\u00a0pode ajudar a evitar o ac\u00famulo de gordura no abd\u00f4men, o tipo mais perigoso. Por\u00a0ser rico em <strong>gordura saud\u00e1vel <\/strong>e bastante denso, proporciona maior saciedade.<\/p>\n<h3>Superalimento<\/h3>\n<p>Pessoas que comem mais <strong>abacate<\/strong>, segundo a pesquisa, pesam menos e tem circunfer\u00eancias abdominais menores do que aquelas que n\u00e3o o consomem, mesmo sem controlar a quantidade de calorias que ingerem.\u00a0\u201cEste \u00e9 mais um exemplo de como nem todas as calorias s\u00e3o iguais\u201d, afirmou Cynthia. Al\u00e9m disso, o\u00a0<strong>abacate<\/strong> tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 uma boa fonte de antioxidantes, fibras, vitaminas e minerais.<\/p>\n<h3>Como adicionar o abacate na dieta?<\/h3>\n<p>Al\u00e9m da vitamina e guacamole, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel comer abacate acompanhando torradas e saladas, como recheio de sandu\u00edches, omeletes e sopas.
