Mas em anos mais quentes, esse aumento chegou a 30 metros, conforme indicou estudo do Instituto Alfred Wegener em Potsdam, na Alemanha. class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"32\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">As camadas de sedimento expostas revelam como era o clima na regi\u00e3o h\u00e1 200 mil anos. Resqu\u00edcios de \u00e1rvores, p\u00f3len e animais indicam que, no passado, a \u00e1rea foi uma densa floresta.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"43\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Esse registro geol\u00f3gico pode ajudar a compreender como ser\u00e1, no futuro, a adapta\u00e7\u00e3o da regi\u00e3o ao aquecimento global. E, ao mesmo tempo, o crescimento acelerado da cratera \u00e9 um indicador imediato do impacto cada vez maior das mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas no degelo do permafrost.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles\" data-block-type=\"raw\" data-block-weight=\"1\">\n<div class=\"content-intertitle\">\n<h2>Desmatamento<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"19\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">A cratera apareceu na d\u00e9cada de 60, de acordo com Julian Murton, professor da Universidade de Sussex, na Inglaterra.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"44\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">O r\u00e1pido desmatamento na regi\u00e3o deixou o terreno sem a prote\u00e7\u00e3o das sombras das \u00e1rvores nos meses de ver\u00e3o. Assim, os raios de sol aqueceram o solo e aceleraram o processo de degelo, uma vez que era a vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o que mantinha o solo resfriado.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"19\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">&#8220;Esta combina\u00e7\u00e3o de menos sombra e transpira\u00e7\u00e3o levou a um aquecimento da superf\u00edcie&#8221;, explica Murton em entrevista \u00e0 BBC.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column derretimento do permafrost, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel que venham a surgir mais crateras como tamb\u00e9m lagos e bacias hidrogr\u00e1ficas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text
