Cientistas revelaram que os tons claros e escuros s\u00e3o frutos da intera\u00e7\u00e3o com o Sol ao longo de milh\u00f5es de anos.<\/p>\n<h2>A cor da pele foi determinada pelas regi\u00f5es do planeta<\/h2>\n<p>Bill Nye \u00e9 um not\u00f3rio cientista educacional, comediante, ator e escritor, que ficou conhecido por ter apresentado o programa infantil de divulga\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica da Disney\/PBS\u00a0<em>\u201cBill Nye the Science Guy\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(1993-98), chamado de \u201cEureka\u201d no Brasil\u00a0 (exibido no ano de 1994 pela Rede Globo).<\/p>\n<p>Vale dizer que, em terras tupiniquins, \u201cO Mundo de Beakman\u201d (exibido pela TV Cultura) acabou fazendo mais sucesso. TikTok\/@billnye<\/a><\/small><\/div>\n<p class=\"c-image-content__caption\">Tudo come\u00e7ou na \u00c1frica.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Ao longo do processo de evolu\u00e7\u00e3o, a pigmenta\u00e7\u00e3o da nossa pele se deu pela sele\u00e7\u00e3o natural, essencialmente, para regular a quantidade de radia\u00e7\u00e3o ultravioleta que penetra na pele, controlando seus efeitos bioqu\u00edmicos.<\/p>\n<p>Ela sugere que as popula\u00e7\u00f5es humanas nos \u00faltimos 50.000 anos evolu\u00edram, adaptando a pele escura para pele clara e vice-versa \u00e0 medida que migraram para diferentes zonas UV.<\/p>\n<p>A teoria principal \u00e9 que a cor da pele se adapta \u00e0 intensa irradia\u00e7\u00e3o solar para fornecer prote\u00e7\u00e3o parcial contra a fra\u00e7\u00e3o ultravioleta. Com baixa quantidade de raios UV, exista uma car\u00eancia de Vitamina D. Segundo o cientista, a pigmenta\u00e7\u00e3o corrige justamente esses pontos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Portanto, as pessoas que viviam em regi\u00f5es equatoriais necessitavam de maior pigmenta\u00e7\u00e3o, como se fosse um filtro solar natural.<\/p>\n<p>J\u00e1 nas regi\u00f5es pr\u00f3ximas aos polos, a incid\u00eancia de UVB \u00e9 quase totalmente dissipada pela atmosfera, e a incid\u00eancia de UVA n\u00e3o tem capacidade de de produzir vitamina D na nossa pele. A falta de produ\u00e7\u00e3o dessa vitamina afeta severamente o organismo.<\/p>\n<p>Para se adaptar, foi necess\u00e1rio perder pigmenta\u00e7\u00e3o para absorver maior quantidade poss\u00edvel de raios UVB. Ela \u00e9 produzida em c\u00e9lulas da pele chamadas\u00a0<em>melan\u00f3citos<\/em>. J\u00e1 a pele clara \u00e9 determinada principalmente pelo tecido conjuntivo branco-azulado sob a derme e pela hemoglobina que circula nas veias da derme.<\/p>\n<p>Observou-se ainda, nos estudos de Jablonski, que as mulheres, em m\u00e9dia, s\u00e3o significativamente mais claras do que homens.<\/p>\n<p>Isso se deve ao fato de que elas precisam de mais c\u00e1lcio durante a gravidez e lacta\u00e7\u00e3o. O corpo sintetiza a vitamina D da luz solar, o que ajuda a absorver c\u00e1lcio. Dessa forma, elas evolu\u00edram para ter uma pele mais clara.<\/p>\n<h2>A ci\u00eancia da cor da pele e a ignor\u00e2ncia humana<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ted.com\/talks\/nina_jablonski_skin_color_is_an_illusion#t-861842\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Em seu TED Talks<\/a>,\u00a0Nina Jablonski explica que esse processo\u00a0n\u00e3o pode ser entendido dentro de uma\u00a0<em>hierarquia evolutiva.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Essas adapta\u00e7\u00f5es ocorreram a partir de processos migrat\u00f3rios e se desenvolveram ao longo de milhares de anos, em movimentos de clareamento e escurecimento, a depender dos fluxos. Segundo ela, devemos nos orgulhar dos processos que nos tornaram mais fortes e adapt\u00e1veis ao meio-ambiente.<\/p>\n<p>Logo, o preconceito com tons de pele s\u00e3o quest\u00f5es meramente culturais.
