Mesmo popularmente conhecido como inimigo das dietas, os carboidratos t\u00eam um papel fundamental no ganho de energia para o nosso corpo. Mas antes de discutir se eles s\u00e3o bons ou ruins, \u00e9 preciso entender seu papel em nosso organismo, seus tipos e como concili\u00e1-los em nossa rotina de maneira inteligente na alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o. Os carboidratos s\u00e3o mol\u00e9culas org\u00e2nicas compostas por carbono, oxig\u00eanio e hidrog\u00eanio. Al\u00e9m da denomina\u00e7\u00e3o popular, eles tamb\u00e9m podem ser chamados de a\u00e7\u00facares, glic\u00eddios ou hidratos de carbono. Quando s\u00e3o ingeridos e absorvidos pelo organismo, t\u00eam o papel de liberar glicose, fornecer energia para as c\u00e9lulas e realizar a manuten\u00e7\u00e3o metab\u00f3lica glic\u00eamica, o que permite que o nosso corpo siga desempenhando suas fun\u00e7\u00f5es. Frutas em geral, batata doce, quinoa e outros cereais integrais s\u00e3o exemplos.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"28\" data-block-id=\"6\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Segundo a nutricionista Rosana Farah, membro da Sociedade Brasileira de Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e Nutri\u00e7\u00e3o (SBAN), conhecer estas duas categorias \u00e9 essencial para determinar o que consumir em cada momento.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"53\" data-block-id=\"7\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">&#8211; Os carboidratos complexos devem ter prefer\u00eancia em nossa alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, pois para serem digeridos, exigem mais gasto de energia do corpo e fazem com o que o a\u00e7\u00facar seja liberado de forma gradual. Isso faz com que a sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de saciedade seja prolongada e, logo, a pessoa come menos &#8211; explica a nutricionista.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"72\" data-block-id=\"8\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">J\u00e1 os carboidratos simples devem ser bem escolhidos e consumidos com modera\u00e7\u00e3o. Especialmente os industrializados, como p\u00e3es brancos e doces, que ao passar pelo processo de industrializa\u00e7\u00e3o, perdem as fibras e o organismo os transforma rapidamente em a\u00e7\u00facar no sangue, o que pode causar picos de insulina.
